Werk Willem Korndörffer in Ter Aarse bibliotheek

Sinds zijn 14de houdt hij zich bezig met tekenen, schilderen in olieverf en later met acryl en etsen. Vijf jaar geleden kwam daar het maken van creaties in brons bij. Inspiratie vindt hij in zijn reizen en alledaagse belevenissen, waarbij hij een voorliefde heeft voor landschappen en schepen. Door het toepassen van verschillende technieken in acryl, etsen, linosnede, monodrukken en brons, ontstaat een brede diversiteit in zijn werk. Korndörffer deed aan ongeveer twintig tentoonstellingen mee in Schiedam, Rotterdam en Nieuwkoop in de periode van 2004 tot nu, waarvan twee solo-tentoonstellingen. Zijn opleiding heeft hij gehad van een impressionist uit Rotterdam, het etsen leerde hij van Beaty Czetö en het werken met brons van Jacques Sens. In zijn Galerie art-06 aan de Langeraarseweg - hij woont sinds 3 jaar in Langeraar - is vanaf 12 april een permanente wisselende tentoonstelling van zijn meest recente werk in de etalage te zien.
